The metal clip and wide band are gold filled or gold plated. Not tested. No ink. My pen w the traditional clip is not common. The clip has 2 small rivets. It does not wobble. I do not see any hallmarks on the wide band. The wide band is primarily decorative. It is a marker of a premium model. No returns. The "V" stands for "vest."
